The British Council launched a novel method of learning English through a full fledged Tablet lab which was set exclusively for primary children and inaugurated on 12th June 2014. The Tablet based learning platform enables a teacher to conduct an engaging class by empowering them with the apt tool.


Cambridge English Language Assessment – A new venture

Cambridge English Language Assessment has been introduced from this year for students of Std.II to Std.IX. 496 students have enrolled for the exams. Coaching classes for the students are conducted one hour after the school hours for Std.VI–Std. IX and for Std.II to Std V,the classes are conducted on the first and third Saturdays between 8.30 a.m and 10.30.a.m

Smart Class Programme is a movement and remains an Add on in the process of Technology aided learning aspects. Intensive training is imparted to all teachers from Std.I – XII. Learning by observation is emphasized through the tool which will remain etched in the minds of all in the years to come. The abstract concepts of life is easily accessible. Mimio technique will make the Knowledge bas stronger at the click of the mouse in acquisition of information, which is a step to strong foundation.
The Inaugural Programme of Educomp was conducted in the School Campus. Shri Ankur Jain, Head of the Chennai FIITJEE Center was the Chief Guest. The PTA Members of all the classes were called to inaugurate the Smart Class programme in all the classes.





A Report



Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School runs with the blessings of his Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi since 1983. Yoga, Pranayama and Transcendental Meditation form an integral part of the school curriculum. The school has 122 sections with the strength of 5595 from Std. I to XII. The school sends teachers for the subject specific as well as Prospective Resource persons trainings conducted by CBSE at different venues for concerned subjects. We have trained 91 teachers in Inclusive Education. Our students participate in all competitions, sports and games events conducted by CBSE. Maharishi University of Management from U.S.A conducts orientation on Higher Education in abroad.
